These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MatchMyFlight platform and services. By accessing or using MatchMyFlight, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
MatchMyFlight offers a platform designed to connect travelers with companions for journeys abroad as well as within the country. Companions are individuals who have willingly agreed to accompany travelers during their trip. Our platform streamlines the matching process between travelers and companions by providing a secure and user-friendly interface.
Through MatchMyFlight, travelers can search for companions who align with their travel preferences, interests, and requirements. The platform facilitates connections based on compatibility, allowing users to find suitable companions for their journey. Whether travelers seek companions for safety, old-age support companionship, or shared exploration, MatchMyFlight aims to cater to diverse travel needs.
The platform prioritizes security and user experience, ensuring that interactions between travelers and companions occur within a safe and controlled environment. By offering a seamless interface, MatchMyFlight enables users to connect and communicate effectively, fostering meaningful travel partnerships.
Overall, MatchMyFlight serves as a comprehensive solution for travelers seeking companionship and support during their journeys abroad as well as within the country. Through our platform, users can embark on memorable adventures with like-minded individuals, enhancing their travel experiences while fostering new connections and friendships.
MatchMyFlight does not store or share users' phone numbers. The platform never reveals, transmits, or discloses one user's phone number to another user under any circumstances.
Contact details are exchanged solely at the users' own discretion, within in-app messaging. If a traveler and companion choose to share personal contact information with each other, they do so voluntarily through the in-app chat — MatchMyFlight is not a party to that exchange and does not facilitate or record it.
MatchMyFlight does not sell, rent, or share user information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties. If you have any privacy concerns, contact us at support@matchmyflight.com.
Any conversation, interaction, or compensation between travellers and companions outside of the MatchMyFlight platform is solely the responsibility of the involved parties/users. MatchMyFlight acts solely as a facilitator for connecting travellers with companions and does not assume any liability for such interactions. Users are encouraged to exercise diligence and discretion when communicating and engaging with companions found through the platform. MatchMyFlight expressly disclaims any responsibility for any consequences arising from interactions between users.
MatchMyFlight may provide suggestions or information to assist travellers and companions in their journey planning process. However, it is important to note that any content or information provided by MatchMyFlight, including but not limited to travel tips, destination recommendations, or safety Guidelines, should not be considered formal advice.
While MatchMyFlight endeavors to offer accurate and helpful guidance, users are encouraged to conduct their own research and exercise independent judgment when making decisions related to their travels. MatchMyFlight does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided, and users acknowledge that they use such information at their own risk.
It is recommended that travellers and companions consult with relevant authorities, professionals, or experts for specific advice pertaining to their individual circumstances, such as medical, legal, or financial matters. MatchMyFlight shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or consequences resulting from the use of information provided through the platform.
By using MatchMyFlight, users agree to waive any claims or liabilities against MatchMyFlight arising from reliance on information provided by the platform and acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their own decisions and actions.
MatchMyFlight operates on a strict no-payment, no-refund basis. We do not facilitate any financial transactions between travelers and companions. Users of the platform are solely responsible for any financial arrangements or agreements made between themselves and their free-companions.
MatchMyFlight acts solely as a facilitator for connecting travelers with companions and does not participate in or endorse any financial transactions that may occur between users. Therefore, MatchMyFlight shall not be held liable for any disputes, financial losses, or damages arising from such transactions made between users, including those involving free companionship.
Users are advised to exercise caution and conduct due diligence when entering into any financial agreements with companions found through the platform. MatchMyFlight recommends clear communication and mutually agreed-upon terms and conditions between travelers and free-companions before engaging in any financial arrangements.
By using MatchMyFlight, users agree to waive any claims or liabilities against MatchMyFlight arising from financial transactions between users and acknowledge that they assume full responsibility for their own financial decisions and actions.
MatchMyFlight provides a platform that enables travelers to engage paid companions for services rendered during travel, subject to the following terms and conditions:
To be eligible for participation as a paid companion on the MatchMyFlight ("MMF") platform, the following conditions must be satisfied in full by the applicant:
The determination of whether an applicant is eligible to act as a paid companion is at the sole and absolute discretion of MMF. MMF is under no obligation to approve any applicant and may deny eligibility for any reason deemed necessary, including but not limited to, concerns regarding the validity of the applicant’s credentials, history of non-compliance with platform policies, or any other grounds MMF deems relevant.
By applying to become a paid companion on MMF, the applicant expressly grants MMF the authority to contact the airline(s) with which the applicant has booked tickets to verify the booking details, if deemed necessary by MMF. This verification process may be undertaken to confirm the legitimacy of the flight details provided and to ensure compliance with platform requirements. The applicant waives any right to challenge or dispute MMF’s right to conduct such verification and acknowledges that any refusal to permit this verification may result in the denial of the applicant’s eligibility to participate as a paid companion.
MMF reserves the right to request further documentation or clarification from the applicant at any time during the application or service process, should it find any inconsistencies, errors, or omissions in the information provided. Failure to comply with such requests may result in denial or revocation of the applicant’s eligibility status as a paid companion.
Paid companions shall have the sole discretion to determine and set their fees for services offered. Such fees must be mutually agreed upon by both the paid companion and the traveler prior to the commencement of the journey.
All payments for services rendered by paid companions shall be facilitated exclusively through the MatchMyFlight platform via the designated payment gateway, Stripe (at present). Any payment transactions conducted outside of the MatchMyFlight platform are strictly prohibited and shall not be recognized or enforced by MatchMyFlight.
MatchMyFlight operates under a strict "No Payment, No Refund" policy for transactions not conducted through the platform. Paid companions are solely responsible for ensuring that they receive payment as agreed upon through the platform's payment system. Currently, paid companions can choose between Gift Cards (such as Amazon) or U.S. Bank transfers for receiving payments. MatchMyFlight is not responsible for, nor will it entertain, any claims or disputes that fall outside the mutually agreed-upon terms between the two parties.
For paid companion bookings specifically: if a traveler cancels before departure, they are entitled to a full refund of any payments made through the MatchMyFlight platform — with no deductions, no cancellation fees, and no conditions based on timing. MatchMyFlight does not impose cancellation penalties on travelers for paid companion bookings under any circumstances.
Should a paid companion cancel the trip, the traveler shall be entitled to a full refund of any payments made. The paid companion shall forfeit any and all rights to compensation for the canceled trip and may be subject to further penalties, including the suspension or termination of their account on the MatchMyFlight platform.
Every canceled trip will count toward a "canceled trips" tally, which will be visible to all travelers in the future. This may impact the paid companion’s earnings for future travels. More than three (3) canceled trips in a calendar year will result in the suspension of the paid companion’s account.
The unconditional-refund guarantee in §6.1 applies to paid companion bookings only. The AI Companion Trip Pass and any other partner or ancillary offerings (transport, accommodation, third-party services) are governed by their own stated cancellation and refund terms, which are presented at the time of purchase. MatchMyFlight makes no blanket refund guarantee for these services.
After each trip, both the traveler and the companion will provide a rating and review for one another. These ratings will be publicly visible on the user’s profile and may influence future bookings.

Paid companions are required to maintain a high standard of professionalism and to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the agreed-upon terms established with the traveler.
Any breach of these terms, including but not limited to the failure to provide the agreed-upon services, may result in the imposition of penalties. Such penalties may include, but are not limited to, the suspension or termination of the paid companion’s account on the MatchMyFlight platform.
Paid companions are permitted to offer their services to multiple travelers simultaneously, provided that all involved parties have given their explicit consent to such an arrangement. Additionally, the arrangement must not conflict with or violate any terms of service established by MatchMyFlight.
In cases where only a portion of the travel itinerary is covered by a companion, travellers are responsible for managing the remaining aspects of their journey on their own. MatchMyFlight facilitates connections between travellers and companions based on mutual agreement, but the extent of the companionship is subject to the arrangements made between the parties involved. Users should communicate clearly and agree upon the scope of the journey and any responsibilities or obligations associated with it.
Users of MatchMyFlight are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner. Any misuse of the platform, including but not limited to fraudulent activities, harassment, discrimination, or violation of privacy, will result in immediate termination of access. MatchMyFlight reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including legal recourse if necessary, against users who engage in prohibited conduct. By using the platform, users agree to abide by these standards of conduct and uphold the integrity of the MatchMyFlight community.
MatchMyFlight reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the MatchMyFlight platform. It is the responsibility of users to regularly review the Terms for any updates or amendments. Continued use of MatchMyFlight after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the US. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the existence, validity, or termination thereof, shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules thereof by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of both parties. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
By using MatchMyFlight, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
